Digital Footprint / Digital Citinzenship
Digital Footprint is information on a computer and others computers around the world. Which allows other people to learn about you even people you don't know. If you buy something online, send an email, or anything it can be tracked. Even going onto a website.
Digital Footprint means that when you get on to the computer and log on to accounts, websites, or post a photo other can see that you have gotten on the internet and have post stuff because it leaves tracks of you getting on.
Digital Citizenship means how you act online to others and that you aren't posting bad thing about something or someone.
Some examples are being respectful to others and having good behavior. If your online and think about saying something bad think if I wouldn't say it in person than I shouldn't say it on the internet. Some other examples are if someone is getting bullied you should help the one getting bullied and ask the bully to stop and if it doesn't stop tell an adult.
Some negative examples are you saying bad things to people and posting stuff that you shouldn't be. Also somethings would be not trying to stop the bullying. And you shouldn't cyberbully.
Assignment: DigiTeen Introduction
After reading some introductions from other students in the project:
1. Look at the rubric so that you will know how the introduction will be graded (advanced is worth the most points, beginning is worth the least points).
2. Write 5 - 10 (or more) sentences to introduce yourself.
3. Pay particular attention to correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation - this is SCHOOL WRITING, not TEXT writing.
Hi my name is Maddi. I go to Anamosa West Middle School.I am in 7th grade and 12 years old. I have three siblings. Two older and one younger.I have three pets two cats and one dog. I play a lot of sports. I play basketball, softball, volleyball, golf, and bowling. My favorite subject in school is math and gym. On my free time I like to hang out with friends and go outside. Some of my favorite things to do is to go camping, swimming, and tubing.
